Tipping is a personal way to show appreciation for excellent service. While not part of staff wages, tips are warmly welcomed and reflect the quality of service received.

Tips are typically given as a group at the end of the trek, often during a small ceremony. Your trek leader will guide you through the process.

We recommend contributing £30-40 per family member for the trek team. Tipping your leader in Kathmandu is also appreciated.

If you’d like to donate equipment or clothing to the hardworking porters and staff, please inform the tour leader to ensure fair distribution. Items like warm clothing, boots, and sleeping bags are always valued.
